 We have an exciting Summer Activity Programme this year, see below for all the details and how to book.

All activities below are included in the price of general admission, but booking is essential.

HOW TO BOOK:

1. Click on the relevant button for activity – this will take you through to our trybooking page.

2. Select day and time of activity.

3. Purchase museum admission tickets for adults and children.

4. Select a free workshop ticket for each person attending the activity. 

**Annual Pass members – Simply select a free workshop ticket – you don’t need to purchase an admission ticket**

GLASS WORK TASTER SESSION **SOLD OUT**

If you would like to go on the waiting list, please contact The Beacon Museum directly.

Join the incredible Roxy from RD Glass who will take you through an introductory taster session of working with glass.

The session will last approximately 1 hour.

The Glass Work sessions will take place on Thursday 28th July and Wednesday 24th August at 11am and 1pm.

**Minimum age 8. Parents to stay with their children throughout the session.**

LEGO WeDo WORKSHOP

Join our visitor host team for the LEGO WeDo session where you will use our tablets and Lego kits to program a LEGO creation.

PLEASE NOTE: Two children will share and work together on one kit.

The session will last approximately 45 minutes.

We’ve added extra dates throughout August. Click ‘Book Now’ to view available dates. 

**Minimum age 7. Parents to stay with their children throughout the session.**

DINO ENCOUNTER **SOLD OUT**

If you would like to go on the waiting list, please contact The Beacon Museum directly. 

We welcome the incredible Pet Encounters team who will bring Blue the dinosaur along with his friends where you will journey through The Beacon Museum on an adventure trail.

The session will last approximately 45 minutes.

This will take place on Thursday 4th August and Tuesday 9th August at 11am and 1pm.

**No minimum age required. 30 places available per session – must book adult place as well as child.**

PET ENCOUNTER **SOLD OUT**

If you would like to go on the waiting list, please contact The Beacon Museum directly.

We welcome the incredible Pet Encounters team who will teach you about the animal’s themselves but also about their habitat, where they originate from and how to care and look after them. Also of course get to hold and interact with many of the animals.

The session will last approximately 45 minutes.

This will take place on Wednesday 17th August, Monday 22nd August and Monday 5th September at 11am and 1pm.

**No minimum age required. 30 places available per session – must book adult place as well as child.**
