Come along for the first day of our actual factual Christmas trail and take part in extra activities and games for one special family day!

Talking Tuesday Christmas Spectuacular: With Steve Wharton
Tuesday 10 December at 2pm
The return of the Talking Tuesday event offers visitors the chance to meet with friends, chat and listen to interesting local people on a range of topics.
Plus! Nibble on sweet treats with a tea or coffee at each event.
In this Talking Tuesday, performer and storyteller Steve Wharton brings a repertoire of Cumbrian folk music, spoken word and also a few Christmas folk pieces to put you in festive spirits.
All ages welcome.
Entry at door is £5 p.p. and includes all refereshments and talks.

Anna Tilbrook and Singers: Rosehill on the Road
Talented young performers Anna Tilbrook, Kirsty McLean and Glen Cunningham will present a feast of music and song at the Beacon Museum, Whitehaven, in a festive “Rosehill on the Road” concert on Sunday 8 December.
Pianist Anna, Cumbrian soprano Kirsty and tenor Glen will entertain with operatic favourites from the likes of Verdi, Puccini and Gounod alongside songs from popular musicals such as West Side Story, My Fair Lady and Carousel, followed by hearty carol singing and plenty of opportunity for audience participation!
All ages welcome. Tickets are 310 for adults and £5 for under 16’s

Festive Closure Dates
The Beacon Museum will close at 4pm on December 23 and will reopen on December 27.
Over New Year the museum will close again on December 30 and will reopen on January 2.
