Looking In Wonderland

12th March- 2nd April 2017

In 1864 political cartoonist John Tenniel was approached by Lewis Carroll to illustrate a small nonsense book for Children.

That little story grew to become the world renowned classic that we know and love today.

This visually immersive exhibition is a selection of the best illustrations from the books. The original drawings were etched on wooden blocks and then printed to create these works.

Accompanying this exhibition is an interactive experience that brings the story of Alice in wonderland to life- fun activities and displays for all ages to enjoy.

** Note- from the 25th of March onward this exhibition falls under the feature exhibition period. From this date the Copeland pass is not valid until the 3rd of May.
