Friends of The Beacon

First Tuesday of every month | 7.30pm – 9.00pm

Why become a ‘Friend of The Beacon’?

Help support The Beacon Museum by becoming a ‘Friend of The Beacon’. The money raised goes to support The Beacon Museum, which includes helping to purchase items for The Beacons collection as well as restoration to chosen items. The members also support various exhibitions within The Beacon Museum on a voluntary basis.

The group organises a programme of talks based around local history topics by various guest and member speakers. (Non-members can attend the talks). Each talk costs £2 for members and £3 for non-members.

How to become a ‘Friend of The Beacon’?

It’s so easy to do! Simply attend one of the monthly meetings (first Tuesday of the month 7.30pm – 9.00pm), and chat to Tony Calvin or Rose Blaney about joining.

There is annual membership fee, which includes unlimited access to The Beacon Museum.

To find out more, or to become a friend, please either attend one of our monthly talks or contact Rose and Tony on friendsofthebeaconwhvn@gmail.com

Everyone is welcome!
