Applique art is so useful for using up all those scraps of fabric you have saved over the years.
Make your own art work to embellish bags, clothing, cushions or to frame and display. The ideas are endless its up to you and your amazing imagination! Any shape and size fabric can be used.
This workshop will teach the art of applique, all hand sewn, no sewing machine needed! You can also enhance your hand sewing skills, stiches and techniques.
This is a very mindful and relaxing activity which you can do on a cosy evening in front of the fire and create gifts or home interiors that would rival any shop bought product.
Fabric will be provided, but if you would like to bring your favourite scraps, please feel free.
Each person will go away with a piece of applique art to inspire and encourage you continue on to new projects at home.
Refreshments will be provided.

Full payment is required upon booking via our booking website. Please note tickets are non-refundable. Make sure to read all details below before purchasing your ticket. Please note that there is no annual pass member discount off this workshop.
Guests with special nutritional requirements must contact our team at thebeacon@copeland.gov.uk, at least 72 hours before the event.
Our workshop has a minimum of eight participant guests and a maximum of fifteen. In the event any of the workshops do not meet the minimum of eight guests, we reserve the right to change the event date to the next available workshop with the minimum required guests. Customers will be contacted to arrange the best suitable available date.
