World Book Day

We’re thrilled to bring you these exciting workshops to celebrate World Book Day 2023.

And don’t forget to dress up as your favourite character from your favourite book. 

Get creative Workshop

10.00 am – 11.30am

Join our storytellers for Story Time. 

Look, listen, sing, and have fun with picture books; create your own short story; then continue your adventure with a self-guided gallery hunt. 

We’d also love for you to bring along your favourite book! 

Suitable for ages 4-10. 

Meet the author – Shannon Kirkwood

1.00pm – 2.30pm 

Author of Top Shelf Rolls, Children’s Book. 

Meet the author, Shannon Kirkwood, who will read her newly released book, followed by Q&A session, then finishing with a creative workshop. 

Suitable for ages 4-10.

These workshops are included with museum admission/FREE for annual pass members however booking is essential. 

A parent/guardian must be present at all times

Places are limited to 15 per session. 

Please note that all visitors must have a valid general admission ticket or annual pass for entry. This can be purchased in advance online or when you arrive to the museum.
