VISITORS to The Beacon Museum in Whitehaven can immerse themselves in the Roman era from the end of this month.
‘Are We There Yet?’ runs from 29 April until 1 October and is a chance to get hands on with lots of interactive exhibits and special activities.
Guest can discover what the Romans did for Cumbria – who were they and what did they leave behind for us?
They can also create a mosaic, hear Roman tales at the Roundhouse, dress the part or complete a Roman-themed trail that explores the family attraction.
