L. S. Lowry’s Cleator Moor; Walk and Talk

FLIP magic show

Join Tony Calvin, co-curator of The Beacon Museum’s L. S. Lowry exhibition, for a walking tour of Lowry’s Cleator Moor and learn the stories behind paintings such as the Elite Fish and Chip Shop and the Broken Window.

The walk will start from Cleator Moor’s Civic Hall and will last approx. 90 minutes. The Civic Hall is accessible for wheelchair users and all the locations are within 100 yards of the Civic Hall, accessed by pavement and road surfaces.

This event is FREE, however please note that access to The Beacon Museum’s L. S. Lowry exhibition is separate and requires an admission fee to be paid/a valid Annual Pass to be shown.

The walks will take place on Saturday 17 February 2024, Saturday 16 March 2024 and Saturday 23 March 2024 and will last approximately 90 minutes.

 

NEW DATES ADDED: 1pm on Thursday 7 March 2024 and 11am Friday 22 March 2024.

The walk will start from Cleator Moor Civic Hall, Market Square, Cleator Moor, Cumbria CA25 5AP.
